In the Community

Pancake Breakfast

For over twenty-five years, Peace Lutheran Church has served a 4th of July Pancake Breakfast as a part of the Community-fest Celebration at Riverside Park in Neenah. We have gone from serving just over 150 people twenty plus years ago, to some years serving over 900 people! Our breakfast in the park has become a rich tradition for many families in the Valley, who come year after year as a part of their July 4th festivities. It also helps provide a wonderful experience to the many visitors who come to celebrate the 4th in the Fox Valley. Many volunteer hours from members of Peace Lutheran Church are needed to help make this event a success. All proceeds raised are divided between Lutheran Education Scholarships for our children and youth attending Lutheran Schools as well as for our Youth Group for activities including the National Youth Gathering held every three years.

Peace Out

Food Pantry

Our Board for Social Ministry administers this program.  Donations of non-perishable food items and monies are gathered throughout the year. These donations are forwarded to Trinity Lutheran Church, Menasha (our sister church) of whom we are in partnership. There are times when specific needs are announced so as to provide what is most needed at the time or season of the year.
